The Lounge!
This is the Class Room! Now don't you just want to take a class
here!
How about getting yourself a day pass or a monthly pass
!
What about spending the second Wednesday of each month with us during our Open House Night
? Fun crafting, socializing, and lots of laughs!
Don't know if you can tell, but we are well stocked to accommodate most crafting projects!
Here is the lounge (below). I still have a couple of things to add and work on, but you get the idea!
Come and crochet, knit, read a book, or just kick back and relax!
Need a break from all that heavy duty crafting? Santa Clarita Craft Lab has its very own lounge with cold drinks and reading material to offer you while you sit back and take a breather.
Birds of a Feather have a happy home!
This is our sewing station. We have two sewing machines, a fabric board, and an ironing board for your sewing needs.

Please call us for any information or to reserve your class (661)255-7526. Please check out our website and make sure you sing up for our mailing list to stay updated on all our cool happenings!
Hope to see you all at
Santa Clarita Craft Lab!
Ok. This one is out of place, but it's the sofa in the lounge. I noticed I didn't add any pictures from this angle so I added it in and it's out of place. Ok. I said that already

As you can see I've been working really hard to get this place looking like it is, but not without help. Thank you Erin, Mayra, Helen, John, Jesse, Tyler, Derek and Paul from downstairs who helped carry heavy pieces from Ikea!
Special thanks to ERIN. She made my curtains and painted my Business Logo on canvas for the studio! You can see the painting in the class room pictures.
Hope to see you all at Santa Clarita Craft Lab!

Last night Helen came by and helped me put away most of my supplies! It looks like a real live Craft Studio! We could shoot a TV show in there! Haha. Note to self: Visualize myself as the host(ess) of my own Crafting TV show! I fixed the lounge area and it looks really great! Helen and I sat and chatted about the business and our classes and all sorts of fun stuff! FUN! That's what we're gonna have.
So this is what I did yesterday at the studio. I put up blinds on both doors. I hung four embellishment centers on the wall. I kinda sorta organized some of my supplies. I home schooled Jesse. I met with a cool lady who does really cool art work. I took Jesse to baseball practice. I shopped for a few needed items. And the studio still looks like a mess!!! So today after home school I hit the studio for an all night-er, which I've been doing every night. I'm loving it! This whole process has been a lot of fun. That's what I want people to have when they come and take a class, or stop by for open house, or when they BYOP and craft all day; FUN!
My body is so sore. Yesterday I was putting together this really cool shelving unit I picked up at Ikea and while I was building it, it collapsed and fell on my leg. Ouch! I was on my own yesterday (no help), but I was determined to get some things done, which I did. In spite of the huge dent in my leg I got some really difficult things accomplished. I'm happy about that. My studio is upstairs and I think I climbed the stairs about 1000 times yesterday alone! I'm so happy! The studio is looking awesome. I didn't have help yesterday, but if I didn't have Erin and Mayra helping me all last week I wouldn't be this far. Hey girls, you'll be proud to see all I have done this week! I've been getting really great feed back on my website too. Thank you to all who have taken the time to check it out. Don't forget to sign the mailing list for updates!
Retraction!!! My husband John is reading this blog over my shoulder and he reminded me that he DID help me yesterday, in the morning! We moved in a couch and table and he helped me hang some curtains. Sorry honey! I love you and thanks for the help!
Here's a picture of my son Jesse! He will be working as my assistant at SCCL. He is one of the funniest people I know. I home school him and he is always making me laugh, all day! I think it's important to have happy people around me. Thank god I gave birth to one of them! Actually all my sons are happy people. I love them with all my heart! This is a science project he did of the solar system. He painted it and assembled it all on his own! He's so smart! :-)
